For Children and Adults
March 24, 2023 – Journey to the Cross and Beyond
For all ages. Join us for a soup supper and then make your own personal journey through several interactive stations that help us find meaning in Jesus’s experiences during his last week in Jerusalem and after his resurrection. Each station will have both child-friendly and adult versions of a scripture passage, a question to reflect upon, and something interactive to do such as smelling perfume, eating bread, casting down loud coins, nailing regrets to a cross, and eating the sweet fruit of God’s love. Children should go through stations with a responsible adult willing to read and explain each activity. This event will take place in Fritze Hall and in the sanctuary from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
April 21, 2023 – Friday Fun Night
For Preschool through 5th grade children. Join us in Fritze Hall from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and help us ask how Jesus is like a good shepherd to us. Join us for story, songs, crafts, and supper. Adults responsible for their children are welcome to join us or to take the evening off.

NEWS FROM HOLY TRINITY MEMORIAL CHURCH
Our congregation shares many values and relationships with Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Catasauqua. Our own Mike Fister is a member and his spouse, Barbara, who sometimes plays the guitar for our worship services, is the Council President at Holy Trinity. In an effort to address food insecurity in their neighborhood, Holy Trinity offers several events and dinners which are free and open to the public. Their work fits in well with our own mission Statement: “Feeding People, Body, Mind, and Spirit.”
With these shared values and connections in mind, our Council has given approval to a new venture. We will be sharing with you events at Holy Trinity Memorial as part of our regular announcements and Holy Trinity will be sharing our events with their congregation.
